Couples Photos

I don’t think I ever mentioned that we finally got our professional photos taken. This has been on my wish list for the past three years. We never had professional engagement or even wedding photos taken. I just wanted something semi-good looking that we could hang in the house and give as gifts. So this year I took the bull by the horns and made all the arrangements and tried to convince Seth that he wouldn’t die from taking photos.

Here are some of the proofs from our session. And yes, we took the dogs. They are part of our family and I wanted some fun “family” shots.

We used Photo Element Studio in Denver. Julie and Tait were great – and extremely patient with a husband that had a horrible headache and didn’t want to be there, and two wild dogs. We even used them to do our Christmas cards. Julie is a graphic designer and custom designed our card using three of our photos.

I can’t wait to do it again next year – I think this should be a new family tradition for us!

  1. These photos are so beautiful! Even the big fluffy clouds in the sky seemed to cooperate! I especially love the ones with the dogs. We finally just had professional photos taken of our family for the first time right before Christmas, and of course, we had to include our 85 lb. Lab. 😉
